John G Reisinger
John G. Reisinger is an evangelist, theologian, conference speaker, and retired pastor. He was teaching the truth of the Doctrines of Grace before it was nearly as widely received in the evangelical community as it presently is. John has been speaking and writing now for over sixty years; he has written numerous articles in the theological journal, Sound of Grace. He is the author of more than twenty books, including the seminal work in New Covenant Theology entitled Abraham’s Four Seeds.
John started Sound of Grace Ministries in 1966 and published a paper by the name Sword & Trowel. The primary goal was teaching the Doctrines of Grace in language that the “man in the pew” could understand. The Doctrines of Grace Teaching Series and the God of the Bible Series have received worldwide distribution. Many churches use them as indoctrination tools, and many individual believers have used them for Bible studies.
He is well-known for a unique ability to make profound and deep truths simple and understandable. Someone said, “He puts the cookies on the bottom shelf.” John’s response is, “We are called to feed sheep, not giraffes.”
